Tapulanga
Foundation presents the 6th Eat.Share.Love.2014 Benefit Dinner and
Silent Auction at the La Proa Ballroom of L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City this
November 21, 2014.
The
foundation’s annual event aims to promote awareness about Tapulanga Foundation
and to generate sponsorship and funds for their college scholarship program.
Tickets
for buffet dinner is at P 500.00 per person and P 250.00 for 6-12 years old
children. The night will continue on with the silent auction of all the
sponsored goods given to Tapulanga by different establishments in and outside
of Negros island. A special raffle with just a limited 150 tickets is also set
with the raffle ticket at P 200.00.
“We
encourage everyone to join this one-night celebration of sharing as we help
these students and give them a chance for a better life,” Tapulanga’s executive
director Mic Abello-Golez urged.
Tapulanga Foundation,
Inc. has been providing educational and
healthcare assistance to impoverished families in the rural areas of the Negros
Occidental, Philippines. They currently are
sending 350 children to St. Francis of Assisi School of Silay City in Negros
Occidental. Along with their free tuition fees, these students are also provided
with books, school supplies, daily lunches in school, immunizations, medical check-up
and other opportunities for learning.
Deserving high school students are also given a chance to go to college
on full or partial scholarships.
Tapulanga’s healthcare program
also provides free medications, diagnostic procedures and annual medical free
clinics to the Hacienda Tinihaban, the neighboring community of St. Francis of
Assisi School.
